SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
Stewards questioned trainer S. Dewick regarding the late scratching of SHINING MAGIC from the Toowoomba meeting February 11, 2006. After taking evidence Stewards accepted trainer Dewick’s explanation and took no further action.
Jockey C. Eaton was suspended at Ipswich on Thursday, February 16, 2006 and requested a change of dates concerning her suspension which was agreed to by the Stewards and will now serve a seven (7) meeting suspension commencing midnight February 18, 2006 up to and including March 3, 2006.
RACE 1: RYDGES RESORT CALOUNDRA TWO-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP 1009MTS
PRANCY NANCY jumped awkwardly, lost ground and shortly after the start eased from the heels of DIAMOND DAZZLER which shifted out.
PAGAN COUNTY jumped awkwardly and in the air.
PRANCY NANCY inclined to hang out from the 750m to rounding the home turn.
Leaving the 500m FAIR HALO, whilst racing greenly, rolled inwards and had to be eased from the heels of DIAMOND DAZZLER. Shortly after FAIR HALO rolled in and hampered GLORIFICATION.
Time off 4.27 p.m.
Following the running of race 1, Stewards upgraded the track to dead at 4.35 .p.m.
RACE 2: CHANNEL 7 MAIDEN PLATE 1009MTS
Jockey P. Spry (CURRENCY ROSE) replaced M. Tarrant who was unable to reach the course by the prescribed time due to transport break down.
SEMI IMPOSE and FIRE A WARNING both dwelt at the start, slowly away.
GO HARD jumped awkwardly and out taking STRIKING LOOKS out onto ENGLISH SILVER which had to be eased from the heels of ALLOWAY QUEEN.
ENGLISH SILVER caught wide in the middle stages of the race.
SEMI IMPOSE hung out rounding the home turn.
Jockey C. Eaton (STRIKING LOOKS) reported she hurt her ankle when dismounting on returning to scale.

RACE 3: STEPHANIE DUFF MEMORIAL CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1003MTS
RIGHT SPICE jumped in making contact with DARBY ROSER.
SUPERSTAR ARIES jumped out making contact with PRIVATE FRISCO, both horses continued to make contact for a short distance.
Rounding the home turn DEDICATED shifted outwards hampering COMEBACK SISTER.
RIGHT SPICE was inclined to hang in the straight.
Jockey G. Farrer (COMEBACK SISTER) reported he accidentally lost his off-side iron near the 100m.
Stewards questions K. Banks (DARBY ROSER) concerning the horse’s performance. Banks stated that the gelding struck its hip on entering the gates and failed to handle the condition of the track in the early and middle stages of the race. Veterinary inspection of DARBY ROSER failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Stewards questioned jockey A. Parramore (PRIVATE FRISCO) concerning the horse’s performance. Parramore stated that he felt the horse had been up for 12 months and failed to respond when placed under pressure in the straight. Explanation noted.
Jockey G. Farrer (COMEBACK SISTER) reprimanded for failing to weigh in for 5th place under rule AR145.
Time off 5.45 p.m.
RACE 4: CRIMSTOPPERS CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1210MTS
KENDRICK LAD jumped out making contact with OUR EXCESS.
COURT ADJOURNED dwelt as the gates opened and lost considerable ground.
App P. Randall advised to exercise more care when leaving the 1100m his mount LAST HUMAM shifted in taking OUR SEQUALO in making contact with LOUGHNAN.
LOUGHNAN and OUR SEQUALO raced wide throughout.
Jockey P. Spry (OUR SEQUALO) reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in leaving the 500m causing LOUGHNAN to ease.

RACE 5: PRESTON PEAK WINERY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1210MTS
MY KAVITA difficult to load, caution placed on the filly.
KHAN’S GOLD jumped out making heavy contact with DIAMOND LAD.
OUR RIFLEMAN jumped in making contact with IRISH ADVICE.
Approaching the 1000m DIAMOND LAD had to ease from the heels of SPECIAL CELESTE.
App S. Drake (KHAN’S GOLD) reprimanded and given the benefit of the doubt when she eased her mount from the heels of DIAMOND LAD resulting in KHAN’S GOLD shifting in causing OUR RIFLEMAN to ease, shift in and strike the fence near the 600m.
Time off 6.58 p.m.
RACE 6: OPTUS BUSINESS DIRECT MAIDEN HANDICAP 1615MTS
KENSFAIR LADY and MODERN RED came together on jumping.
LET’S GO KOKO, UNMILLION PORFAVOR and LITTLE DIMPLE were all slowly away.
MISS BOONARA jumped outwards coming into contact with MAIZCO which in turn came into contact with LADY BEAUFORT.
SHIFTY LUKIE and LET’S GO KOKO raced wide in the middle stages of the race.
Near the 500m MODERN RED dipped.
LADY BEAUFORT inclined to lay in over the concluding stages.
