RACE: 1. App H Akiyama was indisposed and replaced by W Orbell on Watch This Space. Wee Star (J Lait) and Some Gold (M Allen) were slow away. Vivid Edge (R Morris) made home turn wide. He’s All Ours (L Morrison) was inclined to lay out over concluding stages of race, no inconvenience to any other runner. Time Off: 1.35 p.m.

RACE: 2. Salanza (S Apthorpe) and Macaroney (W Orbell) were slow away. Stewards inquired in to the reason why A Gould (Be My Prince) and S Apthorpe (Salanza) were dislodged at approx 900m. Statements were taken from all riders. It was established that Touch A Lady (K Sawyers) hit the inside running rail and stopped quickly, going back through the field. Be My Prince (A Gould) who was traveling behind Touch A Lady (K Sawyers) could not avoid that horse, clipping the heels and dislodging rider A Gould. Salanza (S Apthorpe) which was traveling behind Be My Prince (A Gould) went over the top of Be My Prince and crashed through the inside running rail dislodging rider S Apthorpe. Stewards found that the fall was caused through no fault of any rider. S Apthorpe was transported to hospital by ambulance. App A Gould was examined by ambulance officer and passed fit to ride. Time Off: 2.10. p.m.


RACE: 3. Due to fall in race 2 S Apthorpe was replaced by D Hutchins on So Like Beau. Proud Ascot (B Carne) slow away. Out Of Paris (M Allen) made home turn wide. Circus Boy (R Morris) made home turn wide and shifted out over concluding stages of race, no inconvenience to any other runner. Time Off: 3.00.p.m.

RACE: 4. Sir Winterwood (P Spry) slow away and shifted in making contact with Regal Gentleman (R Morris) over concluding stages of race. Time Off: 3.35.p.m.

RACE: 5. Kala’s Hope (J Lait) slow away. Aller Aller (M Allen) shifted out on home turn making contact with Kala’s Hope (J Lait). Time Off: 4.10.p.m.
