RACE 1: ZONTA MAIDEN PLATE – 800m
SPUD’S SISTER was hampered on jumping between MR. MILO and BLACK STRIPE, which shifted in.
Both SASSI DIVA and TISKET LAD were slow to begin.
RACE 2: ROULSTON BUILDERS MAIDEN PLATE – 1200m
MILITARIUS dipped on jumping losing ground.
BAI CHARIOT and SO NATURAL came together on jumping tightening OUR FANCY HUNTER.
Approaching the 800m, BAI CHARIOT shifted in hampering IT’S ONLY TIME. Shortly afterwards BAI CHARIOT, shifted out making contact with FORGIVE ME DARLING.
Approaching the 600m, EYES OF WONDER shifted in slightly and as a result MILITARIUS, which was racing to the inside of that mare, shifted in and away making contact with the rail and losing ground.
RACE 3: ROSE CITY TYRES CLASS 3 PLATE – 1100m
INTERLINGO was slow to begin.
RACE 4: HUDSONS SUPREME PIES CLASS B H'CAP – 1350m
Both DUSTY MADAM and HATTA’S ROSE were slow to begin.
Approaching the 800m, DARBY ROSER shifted out abruptly making heavy contact with HIGH KWILA, which in turn shifted out taking RESERVE RAIDER wider on the track.
Leaving the 600m, SUCCESSFUL DEAL shifted out slightly hampering HIGH KWILA.
Approaching the 400m, HIGH KWILA, which was held up for clear running shifted out abruptly hampering both, RESERVE RAIDER and UNATTAINABLE, forcing both horses wide on the home turn. Apprentice A O’Brien; rider of HIGH KWILA was reminded of her obligations when shifting ground.
RACE 5: MONROE SHOCK ABSORBER CLASS 6 PLATE – 1500m
