Race 1: JH LINDSAY MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
1ST-- NETT 2nd – ARDINI 3rd – COGNAC DIAMOND 4th-- JACK ‘N’ TAJ
S. Egan was the rider of ARDINI and R. Mules the rider of NETT.
JACK ‘N’ TAJ (M. Cullen) was slow to begin and then travelled wide for the majority of the event.
LAST CAN (S. Galvin) was slow away and travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the event.
ARDINI (S. Egan) tended to hang out rounding the first turn.
Race 2: THE AUCTION CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST -- PUFFED 2nd – LUCY LOU 3rd – FRANGELA 4TH -- SUDDENLY SWEET
S. Egan was the rider of EQUALES.
BLITZED (D. Rewald) was fractious in the barrier prior to jumping then travelled wide for the majority of the event.
EQUALES (S. Egan) was slow away and showed no early speed.
FRANGELA (M. Cullen) travelled wide in the early stages of the event.
RED HUSSERATI (K. Ballard) travelled wide in the late stages of the event.
LITTLE FOOTSTEPS (D.Brown) raced ungenerously and didn’t seem to handle the track conditions.
Race 3: NORTH GREGORY HOTEL BRACELET QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200m:
1st –OUTBACK ELSA 2nd – LUCKY US 3rd – STARS ARE BORN 4th – OLD RAWHIDE
PALCONI was a late scratching at 2:15pm as there was no jockey available.
S. Egan was the rider of LUCKY US, R. Mules the rider of STARS ARE BORN and S. Mossman the rider of WHO’S THE DUDE NOW.
WHO’S THE DUDE NOW (S. Mossman) was slow away and showed no early speed.
IMAROCKET (S. Galvin) showed no early speed and travelled wide in the later stages of the event. Trainer G. Browne was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding regarding barrier manners and stewards would need to see an improvement next start.
MONTH OF SUNDAYS (D. Ballard) and ROCK MATILDA (R. Sue-San) both travelled wide for the majority of the event.
LORDLY (T. Brummell) travelled wide in the later stages of the event.
Race 4: HARRY FORSTER MEMORIAL WEIGHT FOR AGE 1200m:
1st – HEZA FLASHMAN 2nd – MONTANUS 3rd -- SUPERTAX 4th – KNOWN PROSPECT
INDOLLARGENCE (R. Sue-San) and STELLAR SHOW (D. Ballard) brushed on jumping.
HEZA FLASHMAN (R. Mules) was slightly slow away.
KNOWN PROSPECT (D. Rewald) travelled wide in the early stages of the event.
BIKRAM (S. Galvin) travelled wide for the majority of the event.
INDOLLARGECE (R. Sue-San) travelled wide in the later stages of the event.
Race 5: WJ (SANDY) WHITEHEAD CLASS 3 PLATE 1400m:
1st – CRAIGLEA RAWIE 2nd – BROKE BUT LUCKY 3rd – VANGUARD 4th -- EPIC DANCER
BROKE BUT LUCKY (T.BRUMMELL) was fractious in the barrier before jumping.
CRAIGLEA RAWIE (D. Ballard) jumped away awkwardly and was awkward a couple of strides after the start.
BELL’S EXPRESS (K. Ballard) traveled wide from the home turn.
HANDBAG (M. Cullen) traveled wide in the later stages of the race.
ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
