General: App Kerrie-Anne Hutchins contacted the Club prior to Stewards arriving to advise due to a incident at Toowoomba track this morning where she injured her wrist, she would be unable to attend todays meeting. App Hutchins was replaced by App C Dixon as the rider of WHYKICKAROO in race 2.
Race 1 KLIBBE ELECTRICAL CLASS 1HCP 850MTRS
(1)GRINNEZZ (2) DREAM’S COMMING (3) MY MILLIONAIRE (4) SILVER LACE
FATCHO (Jky C Bumstead was slowly away.
DREAM’S COMMING (Jky B Calkin) jumped awkwardly taking NICOLOSI (Jky R Hancock) in onto FLINDERS PRINCESS (App K Treble)
Approaching the 550mtr mark FLINDERS PRINCESS (App Treble) got its head up when sand was thrown back and race unkindly for a short distance,
GRINNEZZ (App M Speers) appeared to shy at the 150mtr mark and shifted outwardly.
The winner GRINNEZZ was swabbed.
Race 2 CLEGG MASONARY & BUILDING SUPPLIES MAIDEN 1000MTRS
(1)KALINGA SECRET (2)PEARL OF PARADISE (3) ETCHED IN BLACK (4) PROUD JESTER
PROUD JESTER (Jky R Hancock) and FLINDERS DAN (Jky B Agland) were slowly away.
AVALLAR (App K Treble) began to loose ground at the 600mtr mark when sand was thrown back.
The winner KALANGA SECRET was swabbed.
Race 3 CRAIGLEA/RAHEEN/PALMADAY/MARR’S BURNETT TO BEACH CLASS 3 PLATE 1000MTR
(1)BEEJAY DANCER (2) ZEUS ALMIGHTY (3) SQUEEZE ME IN (4) BURNITT
App J Murphy contacted Stewards to advise due to mechanical failure with her car on route to Wondai she would be unable to ride at todays meeting. App Murphy was replaced by App K Treble as the rider of MIRACLE SOUND.
BURNITT (App S Bogenhuber) race wide in the early and middle stage of the race
BEEJAY DANCER (Jky C Kearney) was obliged to stop riding his mount for a few strides at the 150mtr when the gelding began to lay in onto ZEUS ALMIGHTY (Jky G Geran) when ridden out
The winner BEEJAY DANCER was swabbed.
Race 4 PIONEER PERMANENT BUILDING SOCIETY CLASS B HCP 1100MTRS
(1)PRIME BELL (2) WALENORE (3) OLA HASTA LUEGO (4) KALINGA ERA
WALENORE (App M Speers) broke through prior to the start and was pulled up a short distance later after being inspected the mare was allowed to start.
KALINGA ERA (Jky G Geran) raced unkindly at the 200mtr mark for a short distance.
PRIME BELL (App C Isdale) was incline to lay in at the 50mtr mark when ridden out hampering LANG SUPREMACY (App J Piper). App Isdale was instructed to exercise care in similar situations.
The winner PRIME BELL was swabbed.
Race 5 HUSTON FORD OPEN HCP 1465MTRS
(1)BATTLE AT SEA (2) LORD CLINTON (3) RULES FOR LIFE (4) GOLD RIMU
LEVERAGE (Jky D Van Bekkum) jumped awkwardly making contact with RULES FOR LIFE (Jky P Gesler)
RULES FOR LIFE (Jky P Gesler) raced wide in the middle stage of the race.
Prior to correct weight Jky P Gesler requested to view the photo finish print believing her mount RULES FOR LIFE number 8 had run third. After viewing the print it was established that the Judges had placed number 6 WATERFORD GLORY as third. Judges amended the placing to show RULES FOR LIFE as third placed horse. Stewards announced to the public via the public address of the correct placing when correct weight was announced.
The winner BATTLE AT SEA was swabbed.
