WEATHER: FINE TRACK: GOOD


RACE 1 CLASS 3 HCP. 800 METRES (3 STARTERS): ESPIRE was declared a late scratching at 11.55am on veterinary advice.

Trainer J. O’Shea was fined the sum of $25 for presenting AUSSIE’S MATE to the saddling enclosure without pacifiers.

RACE 2 MAIDEN HCP. 900 METRES (7 STARTERS): .As Brendon Appo was indisposed through illness he was replaced as the rider of TOPEEM by Neil Jolly.

No racing incidents to report.

RACE 3 3YO CLASS 3 HCP. 1000 METRES (6 STARTERS):. DAME DEFECTS and LORD MALCHI were both crowded for room at the start between NOT ANOTHER and CHESS PIECE which jumped outwards as the gates opened.

RACE 4 CLASS 5 HCP. 1100 METRES (6 STARTERS):. TILBA ROSE jumped away awkwardly.

RED ZEFFA and ALBITUOUS came together at the start.

RACE 5 MAIDEN HCP.1200 METRES (6 STARTERS): KAVAMP jumped away awkwardly.

MANNER’S DAUGHTER jumped out at the start and hampered SHABITAJ.

B. Appo was replaced by M. Unwin as the rider of TOP BOWL.

BOOKMAKERS: Five (5) bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.

SWABBING: All winners were sent to be swabbed and those samples collected were forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
