RACE 1: CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 900M
1st: ALLIEBERT 2ND: SPEEDEX 3RD NEWSWORLD 4TH TARA DOMATIA
MISS KANOOT which was fractious in the barriers and kicking out injuring her hind legs, was a late scratching by order of the stewards acting on vets advice at 1.27 pm. Trainer L Byrne was advised that MISS KANOOT must pass an official barrier trial to the stewards satisfaction before next race start. On the announcement of correct weight, stewards ordered that all monies invested on MISS KANOOT be refunded with the deductions of 8 cents in the dollar for the win and 8 cents in the dollar for the place on the face value of win and place tickets applicable.
DOUBLE YOU shifted out over the concluding stages once placed under pressure.
After the 700m BECKWORTH shifted in marginally and doing so made contact with TARA DOMATIA.
RACE 2: MAIDEN PLATE – 950M
1st: SPECTACULAR FRISCO 2ND: MORNING GLORY 3RD: HIGHTONIAN 4TH: LITTLEBITDODGEY

ALCHRISONTEE shifted out once placed under pressure over concluding stages. App D Carrigg rider of ALCHRISONTEE was reminded of her responsibility’s when for allowing her mount to shift out.
RACE 3: CLASS 4 HANDICAP -1100M
1st: OLD GOLD FOR ME 2nd: ST SPARTICA 3rd: LACELINE 4th: STARRY SYMBOLS
ST SPARTICA jumped out at the start making contact with BABE OF THE YEAR.
BABE OF THE YEAR jumped awkwardly resulting her rider L Timson sustaining a injury to her right knee.
RACE 4: OPEN HANDICAP -1400M
1st: KOALA 2nd: MYCENAE 3rd: COMPETE 4th: NO MORE DREAMS
CHIEF HARMONY was slow into stride.
After leaving the 650m NORTHERN SPIRIT had to be steadied to avoid the heels of KOALA which at this stage tendered to over race, and KOALA getting on the heels of CHIEF HARMONY and shifting out.
Trainer T Cook after the event advised the stewards that NORTHERN SPIRIT had suffered lacerations to the off front fetlock.
RACE 5: CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200M
1st: PAMELA JEAN 2nd: HULA EXPRESS 3rd: GOLLY GOLD 4th: COVER MY TRACKS
BURLEE GIRL was slow into stride.
After leaving the 1100m COVER MY TRACKS had to be steadied to avoid the heels of PAMELA JANE which shifted in marginally and at the same time BURLEE GIRL had to be steadied to avoid COVER MY TRACKS heels.
GENERAL

Jockey R Barone was fined the sum of $100.00 under the terms of LR 51(1), in that he was dual booked in race 3.
Trainer was A Jones was fined the sum of $50.00 under the terms of LR 70, for a late rider on OLD GOLD FOR ME (J Stephens).
App D Carrigg was fined the sum of $50.00 under the terms of AR 92 (12), in that she failed to claim her full allowance.
