Job Task Analysis Resources
A Job Task Analysis (JTA) is a simple breakdown of what a person’s job actually involves day to day.
It looks at the real tasks they do in the stable or on the track such as riding work, handling horses, cleaning boxes, saddling, lifting gear, walking horses, and working around moving animals - and identifies the physical effort and movements required to do those tasks safely.
A JTA is often used by medical professionals to help assess a worker’s capacity for duties. It explains in practical terms what the job truly requires, so everyone can clearly understand whether an injured worker can safely return to their role, or what suitable duties might look like while they recover.
