MADRASKI (Roy Mules) was slow to begin and was not competitive throughout. Stewards inquiry into the filly’s poor performance resulted in trainer Todd Austin being advised that Stewards expected a marked improvement at MADRASKI’S next start.

Race 2: .O’DONNELLS FOUR SQUARE SUPERMARKET CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1000 METRES. 8 STARTERS.
1st - CASINO CHIC 2nd - SON OF WAR 3rd - GE GEE MACGREGOR 4th - WELL EQUIPPED

CAPTAIN AVERY (App. Shaun Mossman) was unruly in Barrier.

EQUAL SEQUAL (App. Toni Hall) jumped inward inconveniencing WELL EQUIPPED (Rhett Bellert) at the start.

SON OF WAR (Arthur Robertson) tended to hang out at about the 200M.mark.

Following Stewards inquiry into App. Toni Hall’s inability to claim her full allowance. Both Apprentice Toni Hall and her Master Garry Browne gave Stewards an undertaking that Apprentice Toni Hall would ensure that she would have a minimum weight of 55.5KG (Vest allowance included) for future Meetings. Both parties were advised that this undertaking would be closely monitored by Stewards.

Race 3: . 1986 SANDGOANNA’S RUGBY LEAGUE REUNION CLASS 6 PLATE 1200 METRES. 6 STARTERS.
1st - EL BDOOR 2nd - KING CORONA 3rd - DOCTOR HENNESSY 4th - LUST FOR VICTORY

SPECTACULAR SIGHT (App. Shaun Mossman) threw its head in the air on jumping, losing considerable ground.

There was a delay in the signalling of correct weight until a copy of the photo finish was produced.

Race 4: . ALAN ‘DOODLES’ HANNAY MEMORIAL CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1300 METRES. 8 STARTERS.
1st - UNKNOWN FACT 2nd - CONTRACTUAL(NZ) 3rd - CHARLEE BUKIT 4th - LORD YUM YUM

LORD YUM YUM (Rhett Bellert) was unruly in the Mounting Yard.

LORD YUM YUM (Rhett Bellert) jumped awkwardly losing ground at the start.

Race 5: .AUSTRALIAN WORKERS HERITAGE CENTRE-TREE OF KNOWLEDGE CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1600 METRES. 7 STARTERS.
1st - HEADQUARTERS 2nd - STRONG SUIT 3rd – ROYAL REFORM 4th - BELLO GINO

Apprentice Toni Hall suffered a nose bleed following race 4 and was subsequently stood down from further rides. Arthur Robertson was substituted as rider of ROYAL REFORM as no apprentice was available.

ROYAL REFORM (Arthur Robertson) was tightened for room at about the 1550M.mark.
