RACE 1: WESTERN AUTO ELECTRICAL MAIDEN PLATE 2 YEAR OLD AND UP – 800M

FUEL’N’WATER dislodged Jockey T banks behind the barrier and was declared a late scratching at 1.50pm. Deductions were 27cents a win and 19cents a place. Connections were advised the gelding must pass an official jumpout prior to its next start.

CANADIAN CRYSTAL jumped awkwardly in making contact with VERGE OF DISCOVERY.

VANITY STAR jumped inward.

NUG’S PRIDE attempted to buck during the early and middle stages and was pulled out of the race. Connections were advised the gelding must pass an official barrier trial prior to its next start.

CANADIAN CRYSTAL hung out on the home turn.

RACE 2: BOOKMAKERS CLASS 5 HANDICAP - 1000M

SLY TYCOON jumped into the side of the gates and was slow away.

SHAN TENG knuckled at the start

Leaving the 800m A PAT FOR BOB shifted out coming in contact with KING CORONA.

A PAT FOR BOB raced wide on the home turn and down the running.

Jockey Tony Lane (SHAN TENG) was harmlessly dislodged at the pull up.


RACE 3:CAHRLEVILLE GYMNASIUM & WEIGHTS CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200M

CROOKED CRANIUM was slow away

FALL GUY, PERCHERON, CHASIN A QUID and NAGAMBIE all jumped awkwardly.

NAGAMBIE hung out at the 800m

CHASIN A QUID rolled in near the 500m hampering FRED ‘N’ GINGER.

RACE 4: TONY FACEY MEMORIAL CLASS 3 PLATE – 1200M

INTER THE FRAY was slow away.

STRONG PO jumped awkwardly.

DECANT raced wide during the middle stages.

COUNTY JACK had to be eased off the heels of TRISTRAM’S TRUCE near the 500m

MR BOBCAT raced wide throughout.

DECANT (App. I French) shifted out abruptly when under pressure over the concluding stages. Apprentice I French was cautioned and advised to stop riding and straighten his mount.

RACE 5: ROSS IVERSON MEMORIAL OPEN HANDICAP – 1600M

JUST DIFFERENT was a late scratching on Veterinary advice at 3.00pm when the gelding was found to have generalised hives and a rash over it body and was deemed unfit to race

SPIN OUT dipped at the jump.

Leaving the 400m EXPRESS FORCE had to be eased from the heels of KING JON JON.

POLISH WARRIOR shifted in over the concluding stages. Apprentice I French was reprimanded for failing to stop riding and straighten his mount.
