RACE 1. CLASS 2 HANDICAP (ORASSFED) 800 METRES. 5 STARTERS.

LE ROI SOLEIL (D Cash) was withdrawn at the Barrier for refusing to load, WILGA LAD (Cathy Johnston) jumped forward onto gate resulting in a cut to the mouth, Betting deduction of 25c was announced prior to correct weight . Blood sample collected frorn winner and sent for analysis.

RACE 2. HANDICAP (GRASS FED) 1000 METRES. 6 STARTERS. No incidents. Blood sample collected from winner and sent for analysis.

RACE 3 CLASS 4 HANDICAP (GRASSFED) 800 METRES. 6 STARTERS.

LE ROI SOLEIL (D Cash) was reluctant to enter Barriers and tended to run about in the straight. Correct weight was delayed due to a request from jockey Miss C Johnston for stewards to view the photo for third place. Blood sample collected from winner and sent for analysis.

RACE 4. CLASS 4 HANDICAP (CORNFED)) 1000 METRES. 5 STARTERS.

No incidents. BABY SPICE and VAIN CARLEY were both presented to the Mounting yard with hind bandages unstitched. Trainer Kistan Price was directed to stitch all bandages and was fined $50 for using unsuitable gear. AR 8(n). Trainer Kistan Price was also directed to change the reins on the bridle of BABY SPICE as they were considered unsuitable. Blood sample collected from winner and sent for analysis.

PACE 5. CLASS 6 HANDICAP (GRASSFED) 1000 METRES. 4 STARTERS. DITCH TO DITCH pulled a front plate and required re-shoeing prior to race. No incidents, Blood sample collected from winner and sent for analysis.

RACE, 6. HANDICAP (GRASSFED) 1400 METRES, 4 STARTERS.

Stewards request for a Veterinary inspection of DASH OF SPIRIT prior to saddling resulted in the gelding being withdrawn as being unsatisfactorily recovered from previous race. Blood sample collected from winner and sent for analysis.
