Race 1: Bennett Contracting Class 2 Handicap- 1000 metres
1st – KEWAY 2nd – RYTARGA 3rd – SOAP BOX SALLY 4th- RUSHATUS

RUSHATUS (App S Alam) was slow into stride and raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Burnett Carrying/Desiree Gill Memorial QTIS Maiden Plate- 1000 metres
1st – GUARANTEES 2nd –BELLA ROCKET 3rd – CHATEAU D’OR 4th – OAXACA

GUARANTEES (S. McCullum) and BELLA ROCKET (C. Pye) were slow into stride.

BELLA ROCKET was inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight.

DAZZLING MAGIC (D. Simmons) raced wide throughout.

Race 3: Crokers Fuel & Oil Class B Handicap - 1200 metres
1st – DON’T TELL ALI 2nd – SPANNA 3rd – IOWNAPRINCE

SAVASHA was declared a late scratching at 225pm on veterinary advice after becoming injured in the tie-up stalls. No deductions were required.

SPANNA (J. Babarovich) lay in in the straight.

Jockey Pye reported that IOWNAPRINCE had travelled well however may not have handled the firm track surface, as she was of the opinion that the gelding did not stretch out fully.

Race 4: Gregory Fabrications Open Handicap- 1200 metres
1st – REV THE CHEV 2nd – GREYWIN 3rd – JEALOUS GUY 4th – MISTY ROCKET
MISTY ROCKET (App K Aho) was slow into stride.

Near 200 metres, REV THE CHEV (J. Babarovich) rolled in slightly and GREYWIN (S. McGovern) had to be eased.

Correct weight was delayed as Jockey McGovern viewed the available patrol film of this incident. After doing so, Jockey McGovern did not proceed with an objection.

Race 5: Commercial Hotel BM 65 Handicap- 1400 metres
1st –LOKELANI 2nd – TANMEYYA 3rd – THE PANTZ 4th – NORDIC WARRIOR

Jockey S McGovern reported that THE PANTZ did not handle the firm track surface.
