GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. No professional riders rode at this meeting.
All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: DAINTREE MAIDEN PLATE. (Set Weights). Distance 800 Metres. (5) Starters.
1st - ZAHA’S WISH 2nd - SOLDIER’S CHARM 3rd - I’VE GOT STYLE 4th - BOLD OUTBACK

BOLD OUTBACK (D. Bannister) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 2: G.H.MILSON MEMORIAL (Restricted Trophy 4) Set Weights Distance – 1000 Metres.
(5 Starters).
1st - NAVILLUS PICALL . 2nd - REQUEST THIS - 3rd MASCARA GIRL 4th - BURRA BLU

NAVILLUS PICALL (D. Bannister) was slow into stride raced wide for the remainder of the race.

MASCARA GIRL (Ms B. Sheard) was slow into stride and travelled wide out past the centre of the track in the early stages and then raced wide for the remainder of the race.

Race 3: J.H.LINDSAY MEMORIAL (Open Trophy Race). Set Weight Distance - 800 Metres.
(5 Starters).
1st - ABAGNALE 2nd - WELL EQUIPPED 3rd - CYCLONE GEORGE 4th - ZATHURA

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of ABAGNALE, allowing that gelding to start in the race.

CYCLONE GEORGE (K. Connolly) was inconveniences at the start when the rider lost his off side stirrup iron.

NGAN DA BAA (Ms B. Sheard) and ZATHURA ( T. Delahunty) were both slowly away and both raced wide all the way.

Race 4: COOINDA (Restricted Trophy 3) Set Weights - Distance - 800 Metres.
(5 Starters).
1st - ISABELLA ESTHER . 2nd - SOVEREIGN PEAK . 3rd - JUNINHO 4th - LA TOMATINO

JUST ROCKY (J. Connolly) hung out, in the home straight.

Race 5: WYORA (Restricted Trophy 2). Set Weights . Distance - 1000 Metres. (5 Starters).
1st -. WESTERN RUN 2nd - FLAGPOST . 3rd - SUBSPECIES 4th - SPURS ‘N”ROSES

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of STAR REVUNDO , allowing that gelding to start in the race.

FLAGPOST (D. Bannister), began awkwardly and was reluctant to stretch out in the early stages.

SUPERMATIVE (T. Delahunty) raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

SPURS ‘N’ROSES (Ms B. Sheard) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 6: LADIES BRACELET (Open Trophy Race) Set Weights . -
Distance - 1400 Metres.
(4 Starters).
1st - FRAAREVA 2nd - PIKESTAFF . 3rd - SOILYMAR 4th - STAR REVUNDO

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of FRAAREVA , allowing that gelding to start in the race.

PIKESTAFF (Ms B. Sheard) raced wide most of the way.

Race 7: LANIFER (Open Trophy Race) -Set Weights . Distance – 1000 Metres. ( 5 Starters).
1st - KOMO LAD 2nd - MEDIUM ‘N’ RARE 3rd – SUPREME AGENDA 4th - ALMAVALE

As the flag start was effected, FUEL ‘N’WATER (T. Delahunty), jumped sharply inwards, making heavy contact with the inside running rail causing the rider to be dislodged

Rounding the home turn, SUPREME AGENDA (J. Dagan) and ALMAVALE (D. Bannister) were hampered by the riderless FUEL ‘N’WATER.

Trainer Mr. J. DELAHUNTY was advised that FUEL ‘N’WATER will have to satisfactorily complete an official barrier trial under simulated race day conditions before again being allowed to start in a race. (AR 8(t)).
