GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. No professional riders rode at this meeting.
All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: Mt. LANDSBOROUGH (Restricted Trophy 3) Set Weights . Distance – 1000 Metres.
(5 Starters).
1st - SOVEREIGN PEAK 2nd ISABELLA ESTHER 3rd - BURRA BLU 4th -MEDIUM ‘N’RARE.

JUNINHO (D. Bannister), lost considerable ground at the start as the result of shifting sharply sideways across the track when the start was effected.

Race 2: WERNA (Restricted Trophy 1) SET WEIGHTS . Distance – 1000 Metres.
(5 Starters)
1st - ZAHA’S WISH 2nd - SUPERMATIVE 3rd - FLAGPOST 4th - I’VE GOT STYLE.

No incidents.

Race 3: CAM BROWN MEMORIAL – (Open Trophy Race) Set Weights . Distance – 1200 Metres.
( 4 Starters).
1st - NAVILLUS PACALL 2nd - KOMO LAD 3rd - ABAGNALE 4th - STAR REVUNDO

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of ABAGNALE and STAR REVUNDO , allowing those two HORSES to start in this race.

Jockey J. Dagan advised he stopped riding STAR REVUNDO over the final stages as he felt the horse was tiring and was not in a winning position.


Race 4: OONDOOROO (Restricted Trophy 4 Race). Set Weights . Distance – 1200 Metres.
(4 Starters).
1st – REQUEST THIS 2nd - MASCARA GIRL 3rd - JUST ROCKY 4th - LA TOMATINA.

After consultation with Stewards, BOLD OUTBACK, which was a dual acceptor, was scratched from this event and raced in Race Six. .

Race 5: AYRSHIRE (Open Trophy Race) Set Weights . Distance – 1000 Metres
(5 Starters).
1st - NGAN DA BAA 2nd - WELL EQUIPPED 3rd ZATHURA 4th CYCLONE GEORGE

SIMONE ‘N’FAITH turned sideways as the start was effected losing considerable ground and took no active part in the race.

NGAN DA BAA (J. Dagan) and ZATHURA (T. Delahunty) both raced wide rounding the home turn and in the straight.

Race 6: WESTERN PICNIC TROPHY (Open Trophy Race) Set Weights Distance – 1600 Metres.
(5 Starters).
1st - PIKESTAFF 2nd - SUPREME AGENDA 3rd - WESTERN RUN 4th - SOLYMAR

PIKESTAFF (Ms B. Sheard) raced wide most of the way.

Race 7: BLADENSBURG JUMBO CONSOLATION (Open Trophy Race). Distance – 800 Metres.
(4 Starters).
1st - ALMAVALE . 2nd - CRAFTY RULER 3rd - SPURS ‘N’ROSES 4th SUBSPECIES

SPURS ‘N’ROSES (Ms B. Sheard) was slow into stride and raced wide rounding the home turn.
