RACE 1: - Mahogany Class 2 Handicap – 1200 metres

MESCALERO jumped out at the start making minor contact with FRAARTOUS. COUNT TELESTO tendered to over race passing the 800 metre mark, and had to be steadied off the heels of PESTULANCE.
The saddle on MOUNTAIN SONG shifted forward in the middle stages, which placed its rider L. Nelson at the some inconvenience for the remainder of the event.

RACE 2: - Snippets Open – 1200 metres

COOL AND REGAL, which was restless in the barrier, jumped awkwardly and out making contact with BLACKLOCK.

RACE 3: - Assertive Lad Class 4 Handicap – 1200 metres

MILLIE’S BID was very slow to begin. Leaving the 1000 metre mark BALLYKAY had to be steadied off the heels of ROAD DANCER. APP S. Morris was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in.
After leaving the 950 metre mark BALLY KAY began to over race and shifted out causing tightening to PLENTIFUL GOLD and IRUKA.
IRISH REIGN shifted in making minor contact with ROAD DANCER over concluding stages of the race.

RACE 4: - Belle De Jour Maiden Plate – 1200 metres

WOREE LAD tendered to over race when being steadied off the heels of GREY DYNASTY after leaving the 1000 metre mark.

RACE 5: General Nediym Class 3 – 1400 metres

RELATE raced wide the entire race.

RACE 6: Subzero Class 6 Plate – 950 metres

As App S. Morris was to be overweight, the following riding replacement was approved Race 6 WIGAN GOWN T. Kowald App S. Morris was fined $50.00. DARK CRUSADER was slow to begin. After travelling a short distance WIGAN GOWN had to be steadied when shifted out onto the heels of COPRAKHAN.
On the home turn WIGAN GOWN had to be checked when tightened for room between EASY DRIVE and ACCORDANCE hung out despite jockey I. Towards efforts. In the circumstances no action was taken. SINOWIN shifted in over concluding stages of the race.
