RACE 1:SOUTHWEST PEST CONTROL CLASS 2 H’CAP 1000M–
1st –Galloping Rhymes 2nd -Fuyung 3rd –Saintes 4th –Breakaway Miss

FUYUNG (S Sweedman) jumped out at the start hampering BREAD’N’WATER (E Wilson).

JAVAKISKA (A Woods) jumped in at the start hampering HURRI LOVE (C Rogers).

Stewards opened an inquiry into W Glass’ riding of SAINTES to determine whether that gelding had been ridden out to the conclusion of the event. After taking evidence and viewing the patrol film’s Stewards adjourned the matter to a time and date to be fixed.


RACE 2:THRIFTY LINK MAIDEN PLATE 1000M–
1st –Go On Greg 2nd –Teddy Pom Pom 3rd –Grey Skye 4th –Hawaii Moon

Stewards accepted the explanation of trainer P Webster for the late declaration of rider for McCASKELL.

HAWAII MOON (C Rogers) jumped in at the start hampering BAT MOBILE (J Kehoe) which lost considerable ground. Short distance later HAWAII MOON shifted out resulting in McCASKELL (S Sweedman) being taken out onto BAD ANGLE (R Tilley) which was forced to shift across the heels of HE’S NO WITNESS (D Monaghan).



RACE 3:DAVE WEBSTER WEIGHT FOR AGE 1000M–
1st -Pittapaddy 2nd –Your Latest Trick 3rd –She’s All Greek 4th -Pankki

REONMAY (J Kehoe) jumped in at the start hampering YOUR LATEEST TRICK (A Woods)

PANKKI (C Rogers) was held up for clear running over the concluding stages.


RACE 4:MURRAWONDAH COBAN POLL & MERINO STUD CLASS 4 H’CAP 1200M-
1st -Littleboyboo 2nd –Swoops 3rd –Midori Lad 4th-Spilt Milk

WOODSY was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 2:15pm as there was no rider available.

EL COBAR (W Glass) was slow to begin and lost considerable ground. Trainer B Green was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding.

Stewards opened an inquiry into R Tilley’s riding of MIDORI LAD to determine whether that gelding had been ridden out to the conclusion of the event. After taking evidence and viewing the patrol films Stewards adjourned the matter to a time and date to be fixed.


RACE 5:ANN DUFF MEMORIAL CLASS B H’CAP 1400M-
1st –Elimination 2nd –Pure Ebony 3rd –A Little Danger 4th –Beautiful Kea

Shortly after the start A LITTLE DANGER (S Sweedman) shifted out taking WHITE GIRL (E Wilson) wider on the track

WHITE GIRL raced wide throughout.

A LITTLE DANGER over-raced during the early stages.

E Wilson was severely reprimanded for her use of the whip on WHITE GIRL when out of contention.
