RACE 1 WALLY CROSS MAIDEN PLATE –1100M
1ST AL RAS 2ND THICK AS THIEVES 3RD JETSMART 4TH MATT BLACK .

At the start RIVER BEND (App Z Landry) ,TRIPLE THE FUN ( App K Treble) and OAOONIA (App A Winfield ) were all slow to begin.
JETSMART ( A Nicholls ) began awkwardly.

Approaching the 900m MISS LIBRA (App J Murphy) was tightened for room by EAST ANGLIA (App K Hutchins ) which shifted in .Then at the 850m of the event EAST ANGLIA shifted out and as a result FIERY EXPRESS ( App I French ) had to eased and shifted out taking THICK AS THIEVES (C Kearney )wider. THICK AS THIEVES was then steadied when MATT BLACK ( App P Randall ) shifted in .Stewards advised all riders to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

WILD CHAPARRAL ( T Unwin ) was obliged to race wide in the early and middle stages of the event.
JETSMART was steadied off the heels of FIERY EXPRESS at the 600m .


RACE 2: GREG ELLIOTT QTIS MAIDEN PLATE --1400M 1ST DIAMADA 2ND SIR LAURDOWN 3RD REDHEADS 4TH DENMARK .

COLLINA ( App J Murphy ) began awkwardly.
GAMBBA GIRL (G Auckram) jumped out at the start tightening DENMARK LANE (App P Randall) on to JOSHREY (App C Isdale) which was slow .

Approaching the 1200m ,GAMBBA GIRL ( G Auckram ) had to be eased when tightened for room between DENMARK LANE ( App P Randall) and SIR LAURDOWN ( C Small) which shifted out .

Approaching the 350m mark SIR LAURDOWN ( C Small) was held up for clear running on the heels of DIAMADA ( C Eaton )

JOSHREY ( App C Isdale) lay out over the final 200m of the event .

Jockey C Eaton was fined the sum of $100-00 under AR137 (C) for a celebratory gesture with her whip prior to the finish line .



RACE 3:MICK BUGLER QTIS MAIDEN PLATE -- 1400M
1ST SEEK A WARNING 2ND TEMANGUM 3RD HOLA 4TH JUMEIRAH HEIGHTS.

Prior to the running of the race App S Wright was dislodged from his mount in the enclosure. He was examined by the medical staff and cleared to fulfil his riding engagements for the day.

TEMANGUM BAY ( App P Carroll ) was slow to begin .

ORANGE FERRARI ( App I French ) jumped in at the start brushing ANGELITO (App S Wright )

FRAARLIFE ( App K Treble ) was slow to begin .

REIGN OF KNOWLEDGE ( App S Bogenhuber ) jumped out at the start .

JUMEIRAH HEIGHTS ( C Eaton ) over raced in the middle stages ,then rounding the home turn was taken wider by SEEK A WARNING ( App P Randall ) which lay out .
SEEK A WARNING then lay out over the final 100m of the event .


RACE 4 : BILL MCGOVERN CLASS 1 HANDICAP-- 1400M 1ST UPHOLSTER 2ND MR ALBERT 3RD LATAR KEN 4TH LIONATAQ

TROJAN JOY was slow to begin .

MANLY CITY ( C Kearney ) jumped in the air as the start was effected losing ground .
SILVA RAZZ ( B Johnson ) was slow to begin an raced wide in the early and concluding stages of the event .

LIONATAQ ( B Calkin ) over raced in the early stages and lay out rounding the first turn .

Both IV’S CHANCE ( C Eaton ) and MANLY CITY ( C Kearney ) raced wide on the home turn .
Approaching the 150m MR ALBERT was disappointed for clear running between SANZA’S JOY ( B Payne ) and LATAR KEN ( C Small ) both of which shifted ground . SONIC TARA ( G Auckram ) which was following then shifted in to obtain clear running .


RACE 5 : BILL MURRAY CLASS 3 PLATE 1100M.
1ST BUCK’N’JAZZ 2ND CONQUISTAR AMOR 3RD AWESOME FLASH 4TH HOTSHOT HAYIL

AWESOME FLASH (App J Murphy ) and SLEEPY LANE (B Payne ) made contact on jumping away

Shortly after the start AWESOME FLASH ( App J Murphy ) shifted out tightening KING NICKELII ( App Z Landry ) on to BRIDGE TO VICTORY ( App T Chambers ) ,which was then tightened by CHARMIA ( App I French ) which shifted in .

BUCK ‘ N “ JAZZ ( App P Carroll ) and HOTSHOT HAYIL ( App S Bogenhuber ) brushed on jumping away .
HOTSHOT HAYIL raced wide rounding the home turn .

Over the concluding stages of the race BUCK’N’JAZZ ( App P Carroll ) and CONQUISTAR AMOR ( C EATON )brushed .

Stewards fined App J Murphy the sum of $200-00 for failing to weigh in for third place under AR 142

Stewards fined App A Winfield the sum of $100-00 ,for not fulfilling her declared riding engagement on KING NICKELII under AR 85 b .

RACE 6 : JACK BRENNAN CLASS 1 PLATE 1100M .
1ST FORSETI 2ND MY MANDOLIN 3RD CLASSY SYL 4TH WISDOM OF JOY

At the start RESPECT ME NOT (J Lowe ) jumped out hampering PINDAN ( T Unwin )

CLASSY SYL ( C Kearney ) and WISDOM OF JOY ( B Payne ) were both tightened for room between LIYAH ( App S Bogenhuber ) which jumped out and ALMOST TANGO ( C Eaton ) which jumped in .
WISDOM OF JOY ( B Payne ) then raced awkwardly and had to be steadied off the heels of ALMOST TANGO ,which then shifted out and was steadied momentarily as FORSETI ( App S Wright ) shifted in .

Rounding the home turn LEGALLY HOT ( App C Isdale ) lay out taking ALMOST TANGO ( C Eaton ) wider on the track .

REPLACEMENT RIDERS:

RACE 5 App Z Landry replaced App A Winfield.

Stewards adjourned an inquiry into an incident involving Work Rider /Stable hand Mr Wade Hornery and Licensed Trainer Jason Judge. Stewards notified all persons concerned that they would be notified of the time and date when the inquiry would reconvene .
