SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Race 1: EARTH COMMODITIES HELIDON MAIDEN PLATE 860M
1st – TUSMANI BLU - 2nd – JADROY - 3rd – SAVAGE STORM - 4th – COCKLESHELLS

TUSMANI BLU (S. Apthorpe) and La Majeur (C. Dixon) were slow to begin.

Regal’s End (C. Bumstead) began awkwardly.

Approaching the 700m turn Telesto’s Gem (G. Butler) shifted and as a result carried Tusmani Blu, Regal’s End and Savage Storm (C. Nicoll) wider on the track.

Approaching the 500m Easygain (G. Thomson) raced up onto the heels of Spring Girl (S. Wright) and as a result was steadied.

Tusmani Blu and Telesto’s Gem raced wide throughout.


G. Butler (Telesto’s Gem) was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of AR92(12) for failing to claim his full allowance.

S. Wright (Spring Girl), which finished 5th, was reprimanded for failing to weight in when required to do so.

Race 2: ALPHA STORAGE MAIDEN PLATE 860M
1st – WHO CAN IT BE NOW - 2nd – SKY SIGNAL - 3rd – PENCONG KOY - 4th – DEE’S PRIDE


Straight Dancing (C. Pye) and Pencong Koy (G. Auckram) were slow to begin.

Spin Kat (G. Thomson) stood flatfooted at the start and lost considerable ground. Trainer Mr. Gary Lane was advised that an official warning will now be placed against the racing manners of Spin Kat.

Near the 350m Pencong Koy was steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of Coochie Maroochy (S. Richardson).

C. Pye (Straight Dancing) was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of AR92(12) for failing to claim her full allowance.

Race 3: MCNAMARA & ASSOCIATES MAIDEN PLATE 1400M
1st – TUSCANY AFFAIR - 2nd – REQUESTALADY - 3rd – HALF CIRCLE - 4th – VIVI GRACE

Barok (J. McKinnon) and Tuscany Affair (M. Morris) bumped on jumping.

Rounding the 1100m turn Sirelle (S. Bogenhuber) hung out and lost ground.


Race 4: KOMATSU / GATTON SHIRE CUP CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1600M
1st – FOREST HEIR - 2nd – WONGA - 3rd – KALINGA IVOR - 4th – DABKE DANCER

Mugwump (K. Attard) began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped Hatcher (S. Bogenhuber).

His Refection (C. Kearney) and Kaycee’s Bid (K. Cunningham) were both slow to begin.

Near the 500m Kalinga Ivor (M. Morris) brushed the running rail on its own accord and became unbalanced.

Passing the 300m Dabke Dancer (J. McKinnon) was momentarily held up for clear running when awkwardly placed behind the heels of Kalinga Ivor.

Near the 150m Dabke Dancer (J. Mckinnon) shifted out abruptly to obtain clear running and in doing so bumped heavily with Star Theatre (S. Mossman), resulting in Star Theatre becoming momentarily unbalanced. J. McKinnon was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.


Race 5: CRAIGLEA / RAHEEN / PALMADAY / MARR’S BURNETT TO BEACH CLASS 3 PLATE 1100M
1st – ANDROUGE – 2nd – BURMAK – 3rd - MILLIMAC - 4th – RIN TIN

Kalinga Kate (M. Morris) and Millimac (M. Abe) were both crowded on jumping between Rin Tin (C. Dixon) and Zeus Almighty (S. Mossman), which began awkwardly and shifted out.

Androuge (K. Cunningham) was hampered on jumping when tightened for room between Much (S. Bogenhuber) and Burmack (S. Apthorpe), both of which began awkwardly.

Road To Honours (B. Calkin) raced wide throughout the event.

Passing the 500m Shani’s Crown (M. Traecey) was chacked when racing in restricted room between Androuge (K. Cunningham) and Rin Tin (C. Dixon) which shifted in away from Stormy Sequalo (M. Hughes), which shifted ground slightly. K. Cunningham, C. Dixon and M. Hughes were all advised to exercise more care and to ensure that runners have sufficient room to which they are entitled to in similar circumstances.

Near the 200m Tamarshak (G. Auckram) shifted in under pressure and bumped Zeus Almighty (S. Mossman).


Race 6: FRH GROUP PTY LTD CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100M
1st – LAURIE’S LAD - 2nd – BURN ME UP - 3rd – FEARLESS LEAP - 4th – THE PIGMAN

Near the 800m The Pigman (S. Wright) was steadied when tightened for room by Burn Me Up (K. Cunningham), which shifted in slightly away from Shire Girl (C. Dixon). K. Cunningham was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. A short distance later Burn Me Up commenced to over race with its head up in the air.

Over the concluding stages Galangal (K. Attard) was steadied when tightened between Lamark (G. Auckram) and The Pigman (S. Wright) both of which shifted ground.
