Race 1: CLASS B HANDICAP1194 metres
1st – ZERO HARM 2nd –TORNEDO LAD 3rd – INNOCENT ENCOUNTER 4th – ST BOLERO

STAR VALOUR (M Cant) proved difficult to load.

STAR VALOUR jumped awkwardly.

Leaving the 900 metres THINK ABOUT IT (App K Mizobe) drifted wide and in doing so forced TORNEDO LAD (App Kedron) wider on the track.

Approaching the 500 metres TORNEDO LAD (App K Pedron) had to be steadied after over racing onto the heels of SHOVELLE (C Kearney).

INNOCENT ENCOUNTER (R Hall) shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.




Race 2: CLASS 4 1000 metres
1st – TOP’S LAD 2nd – GENERAL CURVE 3rd – SOUNDSLIKEJAZZ 4th – PIXEL WORLD

SOUNDSLIKEJAZZ (C Beets) raced wide for the majority.

GENERAL CURVE (R Hall) laid in over the concluding stages.

Race 3: QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres
1st – BERRIMA BOOGIE 2nd – HYPATIA 3rd – HASARUSH 4th – OGAN

LET’S GO LOCO was declared a late scratching at 1.50pm due to no rider being available.

THE DEVIL WOMAN (R Hall) failed to show any early speed.

Race 4: OPEN HANDICAP 1000 metres
1st – HOW GOOD IS HE 2nd – FEARS 3rd – BUCK’S SECRET 4th – COALMINE

As the barrier gates opened CALL THE ROLL (C Beets) shifted its head sideways and as a consequence was extremely slow into stride.

George Auckram the rider of BUCK’S SECRET lost his whip approaching the 150 metres.

Race 5: CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1517 metres
1st – LARRABY 2nd – SWORD OF HONOUR 3rd – HARDLY A GAME 4th – ASCOTSFLEET

ASCOTSFLEET (App K Mizobe) was slow into stride.

Approaching the 1200 metres MUTHAIGA CLUB (G Auckram) was tightened for room and had to check out across the heels of MY BON CHEVAL (M Cant) which shifted in when insufficiently clear to do so. At a subsequence Stewards inquiry Jockey Matthew Cant was issued with a severe reprimand under the terms of AR137(a) for shifting ground when not clear to do so.
