Race 1: Aggreko Maiden Plate - 1000 Mtrs
1st – Zahoo 2nd – Marywho 3rd – Bella Principessa 4th – Jaimee’s Way

SPRINGVALE (J Stephens) was slow into stride. ZAHOO ( A Coome) and EDGEROI FLAME (L Dillon) made contact on jumping. BELLA PRINCIPESSA (M Barnham) raced wide during the middle and late stages.


Race 2: CQP CLASS 4 – 850 Mtrs
1st – Scent of Gold 2nd – Countershy 3rd – Infringement 4th – Gold War

EAGLE JESTER was withdrawn by stewards at 10.45am acting on veterinary advice after the gelding was inspected in the mounting yard. Prior the declaration of correct weight stewards announced the deductions of 47c in the win and 35c in the place of the face value of all bets wagered prior to the withdrawal of EAGLE JESTER and that all monies wagered on EAGLE JESTER be refunded. Trainer P. Pengelly was advised that a veterinary certificate of fitness was required prior to its next race start.

WESTERN CHAT (A Coome) knuckled at the start and raced wide throughout the event. SIR SOMETHING (App A Taylor) jumped awkwardly and lost ground at the start. Approaching the 400 mtrs SIR SOMETHING raced up onto the heels of GOLD WAR (M Cullen) and was subsequently checked.


Race 3: Class 1 Handicap – 1517 Mtrs
1st – My Beauty 2nd – Tuscany Affair 3rd – Kantucki 4th – Air Waves

KANTUCKI (L Dillon) was difficult to load. KANTUCKI and AIR WAVES (C Beets) were both slow into stride.

Race 4: Class B Handicap – 1194 Mtrs
1st – Berrima Boogie(NZ) 2nd – Irish Iceberg 3rd – Truthful 4th – Olsens

TRUTHFUL (M Barnham) raced wide for the majority of the event.

Race 5: Open Handicap – 1000 Mtrs
1st – Ruby Frisco 2nd – Top’s Lad 3rd – Lady In Silk 4th – Handy Hero

HANDY HERO (M Cullen) raced wide throughout the event. At approx the 100 mtrs LADY IN SILK (C Beets) made contact with the compounding ANDURIL (S Evans) when making a run to the outside of KOUNELI (M Stephens).
