Race 1: Hillross Financial Maiden Plate – 900 Metres
1st – Mr Door 2nd – Two Step Tango 3rd – Jewels ‘n’ Shoes 4th – Eros Coconut

JEWELS ‘N’ SHOES (F. Edwards) lost considerable ground near the 700 metre point. Jockey Edwards explained that the horse did not show any early pace and could not maintain his position despite his efforts to do so.

MR DOOR (K. Rocket) raced ungenerously near the 600 metres mark. Jockey Rocket explained that the horse raced ungenerously throughout the race.

Race 2: Amcor Fibre Packaging Class 6 Plate – 900 Metres
1st – Guru 2nd – Reprobate 3rd – Via Real 4th – Scare Tactic

SCARE TACTIC (W. D’Avila) was slow into stride as the start was affected

Race 3: Geraldton Graf-X Class 8 Handicap – 1100 Metres
1st – Alshain 2nd – Dance Ducey Dance 3rd – Desertsunprincess 4th – Kinetic Heat

DANE WILL DO (F. Edwards) reared slightly as the start was affected resulting in this horse being slow away.

NORTHERNER (M. Atkinson) jumped out as the start was affected resulting in DESERTSUNPRINCESS (J. Stopps) being tightened onto WEELEE FLYER (K. Rockett).

OUR COUGETTE (R. Ryan) raced ungenerously for the majority of the event. Jockey Ryan explained to stewards that the horse never travelled well. A veterinary examination of the mare revealed a tendon strain. Trainer J. Bell advised that OUR COUGETTE would now be retired from racing. Nonetheless, Ms Bell was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required before the mare would be permitted to race again.

Race 4: ITC Members Open Handicap – 1100 Metres
1st – Heresay 2nd – More Than Regal 3rd – Voire 4th – General Ledger

FRED THE LEGION (I. Toward) jumped awkwardly causing inconvenience to VOIRE (J. Stopps).

SUNDAY ADVICE (S. Kaya) and HERESAY (F. Edwards) came together as the start was affected.

Race 5: Freds Transport Class 2 Handicap – 1000 Metres
1st – Cool Shower 2nd – Genaperu 3rd – Chronic 4th – Sazerac

SAZERAC (J. Felix) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.

DESERT PATROL (S. Watkin) was slow into stride as the start was affected.

GENAPERU (M. Cullen) was disappointed for a run near the 500 metre point. Jockey Cullen reported that the saddle on GENAPERU slipped near the 300 metre point placing him at a disadvantage in riding GENAPERU out for the remainder of the race.
