SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

The first race was delayed by 10mins due to the club Vet arriving late on course.

RACE 1: AE ARTHUR MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE 800M–
1st -Letimgo 2nd –Fashion Assassin 3rd -Falvita 4th-Kamiri Lass

ATTAWAY (K Holland) was slow to begin losing considerable ground.

LETIMGO (A Hozack) was tightened for room at the start between FALVITA (D Monaghan) and FASHION ASSASSIN (J Kehoe) both of which shifted ground.

A post-race Vet Inspection of FASHION ASSASSIN revealed that the mare to be sore in the near fore. Connections were advised that the mare would require Veterinary Certificate prior to next start.

RACE 2: AF & MF BLAKE MEMORIAL/ELDERS QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE 1200M–
1st -Audubon 2nd -Noteworthy 3rd –Playing Jingles 4th –Certain Circles

PLAYING JINGLES (J Kehoe) jumped out at the start making heavy contact with LITTLEBOYBOO (A Hozack).

AVAGO DELBOY (W J COOK) blundered on jumping away losing ground.

Stewards reminded jockey C Rogers (NOTEWORTHY) of her obligations to ride her mount to the finish of the event.


RACE 3: CLYDE AGRICULTURE CLASS B 1000M–
1st –Breakaway Miss 2nd –You Tell Us 3rd -Anisette 4th –Crafty Poet

CRAFTY POET (A Hozack) began awkwardly losing ground.

GAY GLORIA (D Baker) over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

A post-race inspection of NASHAMA (D Monaghan) revealed the mare had bled from both nostrils. Stewards advised Trainer S Iverson that the mare would now be barred from racing for a period of 3 months under the provisions of AR53a.

Following the running of race 3 heavy rain fell resulting in the racing surface becoming unfit for racing. Therefore Stewards in consultation with Jockeys and the club officials abandoned the remainder of the meeting at 2:30pm due to the wet weather and the state of the track.
