RACE 1: DC MOTORS CLASS 6 H'CAP - 1000 METERS (4 STARTERS)
No incidents in running

RACE 2: ROBO’S QUICKFIT TYRE SERVIVE MAIDEN H'CAP - 1000 METRES (6 STARTERS)
KELSEYROANE (App L.Timson) was fractious in the barriers and then raced wide on the track when rounding the home turn.

RACE 3: ADVANCED EXHAUSTS CLASS 3 H'CAP - 1000 METRES (7 STARTERS)
No incidents in running

RACE 4: BOB BOYS CLASS 4 H’CAP - 1350 METRES (6 STARTERS)
As the gates opened TAMBO ROAD (App T.Mathieson) jumped outwards and BIHAANA SEAS (J.Stephens) jumped inwards which inconvenienced BAY BEAUTY (App D.Johnston).
BIHAANA SEAS (J.Stephens) was inconvenienced at the 1050mtr mark when TAMBO ROAD (App T.Mathieson) shifted inwards marginally. Stewards advised Apprentice Mathieson to show more care in the future.
BIHAANA SEAS returned to the enclosure with the presence of blood in both nostrils. The club’s veterinary surgeon confirmed that the horse had bled as per Arr 53A. Trainer A.Jones was advised that the horse has incurred a 3 month ban from racing.

RACE 5: GARY THOMASON’S BETTA ELECTRICAL & GAS CLASS 1 H’CAP - 1350 METRES (7 STARTERS)
Trainer N.Perry was fined the sum of $25 under the terms of Lr42(2) in that he failed to lodge an amended Stable return to amend the ownership of A’SQUADRO.

RACE 6: JIM PEARCE MP RIDGELANDS OPEN H’CAP - 1350 METRES (7 STARTERS)
CITICHARM (G.Booth) was marginally slow into stride.

SWABBING
Routine samples were taken from all winners and forwarded to the racing science centre for analysis.
