SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
From SCTC meeting, 12.2.06
Queensland Racing stewards reconvened the adjourned inquiry from Caloundra on 12 February 2006 at the Deagon offices on 23 February 2006. The inquiry concerned a report given to the stewards on the day relating to a runner in the first race, Don’t Tell The Wife. Stewards took initial statements from Ms B. Halcombe (Parade Ring Attendant), Mr R. De Voss (Clerk of the Course) and Mr Grant Taylor, trainer of Don’t Tell The Wife. At the resumption of the inquiry, stewards permitted Mr Taylor to submit further evidence to the inquiry. After considering all of the evidence produced to the inquiry, stewards closed the inquiry and took no action.
From SCTC meeting, 19.2.06
Stewards today inquired into a complaint lodged by owner Mr Kevin Bailey regarding an incident which occurred in the saddling enclosure following the last race at the above race meeting. After taking evidence from both Mr Bailey and licensed trainer Ms Lisa Stratton, Ms Stratton pleaded guilty to a charge of misconduct under AR175(q), in that she used offensive language and abused Mr Bailey. Ms Stratton was fined the sum of $500. Acting under the powers of LR36(h), stewards suspended $300 of such fine, conditional upon Ms Stratton not breaching AR175(q) for a period of 12 months.

Nearing the 400m, PERFECTED (J. Holder) shifted out to obtain clear running and in doing so made contact with CREMARIE (P. Hammersley) on a number of occasions.
When questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance of LUNACAMPO, jockey G. DESERT DASH became awkward when leaving the 800m and failed to run on over the concluding stages, finishing a distant last. A post race veterinary examination of DESERT DASH failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J.
