1st –XAAROON 2nd – SWOOPS 3rd – IT’S MY GOLD 4th – CERTAIN CIRCLES.

SIX LOVE (NZ) (Ross Tilley) was unruly in Mounting Yard and during preliminary. SIX LOVE (NZ) was led back to the Mounting Yard riderless Post Race. The gelding was subsequently suspended from racing until it had satisfactorily trialed under race conditions LR36(b).

IT’S MY GOLD (NZ) (App. Toni Hall) shifted inward on jumping.

XAAROON (David Rewald) jumped outward leaving the Barrier and was slow into stride.

Race 2: THE CRAIGLEA CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1000 METRES. 12 STARTERS.
1st –WON’T LOOK BACK 2nd –CRAIGLEA MAIDEN 3rd –GEE GEE MACGREGOR 4th –CASINO CHIC.

App. Toni Hall COBBI LAD was fined $100 under AR120(b) for being overweight on COBBI LAD.

CASINO CHIC (Roy Mules) reared on jumping, losing ground.

GEE GEE MACGREGOR (Rhett Bellert) raced fiercely in the early stages.

DOLANITY (David Rewald) was slow away.

Race 3: ELDERS GOLDEN CLASSIC QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE 1200 METRES. 12 STARTERS.
1st –BOLD BENNY 2nd –BEN BUCKLER 3rd – FALLGUY 4th – REGIMENTAL STAR.

CLANGOVER (Carmel Baker) was slow into stride.

FLARE UP (Ross Tilley) was slow away.

GO ATOM (Christopher Bryen) pulled up lame in the off front and is suspended from further racing until a Veterinary clearance is provided LR36(b).

Race 4: .CRAIGLEA/RAHEEN/DROUGHTMASTER/PALMADAY/MARR’S MATILDA HIGHWAY CLASS 6 PLATE 1200 METRES. 13 STARTERS.
1st – GIDYEA COALS 2nd – DUSTY DANIEL & INDOLLARENCE 3rd – STRONG SUIT 4th –FALLEN

BLUE COUGAR (Cheryl Rogers) was slow to begin.

Stewards took possession of a whip from App. Kerry Hutchings which did not meet the specification set out in AR 137 AA. App. Kerry Hutchings stated that she had been using the whip for approx.18 months and no further action was taken pending further investigation.


Race 5: TAMBO CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1400 METRES. 12 STARTERS.
1st –FLYING KWILA 2nd – CRAIGLEA WARRIOR 3rd – CRAIGLEA BOB 4th – LAST HUMAN

EXPRESS FORCE (App.Norifumi Yamaba) pulled up lame in the off front and is suspended from futher racing until a Veterinary clearance is provided LR36(b).


Race 6: .PRESIDENTS CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1400 METRES. 10 STARTERS.
1st –LEICA MAGIC 2nd – MUSHOOD 3rd – SAVANNAH ROAD 4th – PANKKI

App. Shaun Mossman replaced App. Toni Hall as rider for BIGSTAD due to App. Toni Hall being overweight. AR120(b)

BARTOLO (Christopher Bryen) was slow into stride.

LEICA MAGIC (David Rewald) shifted outward on jumping losing ground.

Stewards inquired into an incident at about the 200M.mark where PANKKI (Gary Geran) shifted out onto LEICA MAGIC (David Rewald). Stewards were satisfied that no breach of the rules had occurred and no further action was taken.
