Race 1: RED STEER HOTEL MOTEL CLASS 6 PLATE 1075M:
1st – Flying Squaw 2nd – Symatina 3rd – Cyclone George 4th – Hayilebelle

KISTADAN (App A. Butler) jumped away awkwardly.

SYMATINA (N. Patchett) was slow to begin.



Race 2: HOTEL THANGOOL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200M:
1st – Two Tone 2nd – Prince Havock 3rd – Valley Moon 4th – Royal Debutante

MISS GYPSY KAAT (J. Kehoe) was slow to begin.

At the start, PRINCE HAVOC (App L. Dillon) was tightened for room between VALLEY MOON (App A. Coome) and LAST INDIAN (App K. Mizobe) which jumped away awkwardly and shifted out.

Near the 600m, PRINCE HAVOC (App L. Dillon) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of the tiring BARNS HOPE (App A. Butler) which shifted in. App A. Butler was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

Near the 200m, RED DUST DANCER (D. Masdil) shifted out under pressure taking KENTRILL (J. Stephens) out onto VALLEY MOON (App A. Coome) who was taken wider on the track.

RED DUST DANCER (D. Masdil), TWO TONE (J. Robertson) and KENTRILL (J. Stephens) all raced wide throughout the event.



Race 3 : QUEENSLAND COUNTRY RACING BEEF & COAL SERIES CLASS 3 PLATE 1200M:
1st – Snagapot 2nd – Birdella 3rd – Revolva 4th – Rose with Attitude

POLITICAL SPIN (App A. Butler) was slow to begin.

Near the 500m, PARDON THE PUN (J. Stephens) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of BAK TAO (J. Robertson).


Race 4: COMMERCIAL HOTEL BILOELA CLASS B HANDICAP 1400M:
1st – Tayanso 2nd – Boombalarda 3rd – Kalman 4th – Hofbrau

LUMIER D’ETOILE (App L. Dillon) was slow to begin.

Passing the 800m, TAYANSO (D. Evans) commenced to over race and did so until passing the 700m.

KALMAN (D. Whitmore) raced wide for the majority of the event.


Race 5: BILOELA HOTEL CLASS 1 HANDICAP 800M:
1st – Eagle Jester 2nd – Hypatia 3rd – Infringement 4th – Aktoom Baby

At the start, REGAL MOUNTAIN (N. Patchett) blundered resulting in N. Patchett becoming unbalanced and almost being dislodged.

TRIPWIRE (App K. Mizobe) jumped away awkwardly.

Near the 500m, EAGLE JESTER shifted in on a number of occasions making contact with AKTOOM BABY (App A. Coome) resulting in AKTOOM BABY becoming unbalanced.



Race 6: SETTLERS BILOELA HOTEL MOTEL OPEN HANDICAP 800M:
1st – General Curve 2nd – Stoutfast 3rd – Storm Action 4th – Jyi’s Prospect

As D. Whitmore was overweight R. Hall was substituted as the rider of GENERAL CURVE. At a subsequent inquiry D. Whitmore was fined the sum of $100.

HANDY HERO (App K. Mizobe) and CLOUDS OF COGNAC (App L. Dillon) raced wide for the majority of the event.

Passing the 200m, J. Kehoe the rider of SIR SOMETHING accidentally dropped his whip
