After taking evidence from the parties involved and viewing the official video films, stewards dismissed the protest and declared correct weight. At a subsequent inquiry S. Simon was admonished for attempting to force a run to the inside of SILOUIE where there was insufficient room.
NOTHIN' LEICA BABE (R. Mules) was slow to begin.

Watkin), which had to be steadied. KRUGER PARK (I. Toward), which was travelled behind MOONAGHEE, was also inconvenienced in the incident.
Near the 400 metres VERBITO (M. Bennett) shifted out and inconvenienced AL MAHA (App. K. Penrose). M. Bennett was severely admonished.
