At the start MR POITIER, SHOW 'EM THE WAY, GEE JAY BEE and MERVYN were hampered between JAYAHEM, which jumped out and HE'S A BROTHER, which jumped in.
Near the 550m JAYAHEM hung out across the heels of MR POITIER.
GEE BE JAY, which was racing to the outside of JAYAHEM was steadied in the incident.
MERVYN hung in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

RACE 2: LEN PATTI FILLIES & MARES MAIDEN H'CAP - 1012M.
Trainer T Sears was fined the sum of $50 for failing to declare the rider for PEASEBLOSSOM by the required time.

SPOT ON ALICE jumped awkwardly.

At the start PROUD BUCK was hampered between STRAVAIN LADY, which jumped out and MIGHTY MOOSE, which jumped in.
Y Yamazaki (STITCHED UP) lost his off side stirrup on jumping, in this incident his saddle shifted to the near side. Y Yamazaki regained his stirrup approaching the 600m.
YOU SEE A STAR jumped awkwardly.
When questioned about the disappointing performance of PATHFINDER, jockey J Sharp stated that his mount travelled well until placed under pressure approaching the home turn at which time his mount failed to respond, explanation noted.

Approaching the 800m EYES FOREVER and MICHAEL'S CUE BID were crowded for room by KWIGEBO, which rolled in.
Leaving the 400m EYES FOREVER was momentarily crowded for room by KWIGEBO, which was taken in by SILK QUILT, which rolled in.
Near the 250m EYES FOREVER shifted out making contact with KWIGEBO.
HELLO POSSUMS shifted in over the concluding stages.

Approaching the 800m SELF TITLED was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by FEARLESS RACER.
Approaching the 100m RANCHO RHYTHM shifted in and brushed SEMI ZOOM.
The saddle on SELF TITLED slipped back during running.

On the first turn GREEN CADILLAC was steadied when crowded for room between HEADPHONE and GAELIC PRINCE, which shifted out.
