RACE 1: QRSE CRIME STOPPERS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1207M.

Due to an error T Maeda was not shown in the racebook as the rider of GILDED BIRD.

Trainer D Ward advised stewards that he intended to instruct D Hutchins to ride PENTAL ADVENTURE off the pace if possible.

At the start MY GAME was hampered between PONTIAIRE and CHENGA CHIRON, which jumped in.

VIVA SEQUALO was slowly away.

Near the 850m BARRYMORE was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by VIVA SEQUALO, which shifted in marginally.

Leaving the 500m MY GAME shifted out and made contact with CITI WALTZ, which became unbalanced and lost ground.

Near the 250m PASTURE was eased from the heels of TOO TOUGH, which shifted out.

PONTIAIRE, which raced wide throughout, laid in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

PENTAL ADVENTURE hung in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

CRYSTAL QUEEN, which hung out throughout, raced wide from the 800m.

RACE 2:THE FEDRAL HOTEL MOTEL CLAAS 4 H'CAP – 900M.

TOWN FLIRT was slowly away.

DO AS I SAY jumped out as the gates opened.

NUMERO UNO, which was slowly away, was steadied shortly after from the heels of FAIR RALEIGH, which jumped out.

Shortly after the start CHUQUITITA shifted in and made contact with CRYSTAL GAZE.

Near the 750m DO AS I SAY was eased when tightened for room between LACRYMA BAY (C Eaton), which shifted out and MAN SERVANT (J Sharp), which shifted in. Shortly after MAN SERVANT, which shifted in and away from NITROGLYCERINE made contact with LACRYMA BAY. J Sharp and C Eaton were advised of their obligations when their mounts are shifting ground.

Leaving the 750m CHUQUITITA was crowded for room between FAIR RALEIGH, which shifted in whilst hanging in and CRYSTAL GAZE, which was taken out by DO AS I SAY, which shifted out whilst being eased when tightened for room in a previous incident.

Near the 700m MAN SERVANT, which was lying in, shifted in and made heavy contact with the hindquarters of LACRYMA BAY, which became unbalanced in the incident.

Near the 250m CRYSTAL GAZE was steadied momentarily when MAN SERVANT shifted in marginally.

RACE 3: PRESTON PEAK WINES CLASS 1 H'CAP - 1006M.

CANADIAN BLUE lost ground when jumping away awkwardly.

MISTER SUCCESS jumped away awkwardly.

GLORIOUS FEELING was slowly away.

Approaching the 800m STARLIGHT QUEEN was taken in by CANADIAN BLUE.

TARATA BAY hung out rounding the home turn.

Near the 250m VEBITA was steadied when crowded for room by SPECIALLY MADE, which was lying in.

Approaching the 100m MISTER SUCCESS shifted in and made contact with STARLIGHT QUEEN.

Leaving the 100m GLORIOUS FEELING was eased from the heels of MISTER SUCCESS (J McKinnon), which shifted out. J McKinnon was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

RACE 4: RYDGES OASIS RESORT CLAOUNDRA CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1106M.

T Ono (GOLD BOLERO) replaced L Fyfe who failed to arrive on course by the required time. Stewards accepted the explanation of L Fyfe why he failed to fulfil his engagement.

GOLD BOLERO jumped away awkwardly.

KILLACHI jumped away awkwardly.

CAPTAIN ZIGZAG jumped away awkwardly.

NICTOM jumped away awkwardly.

Time off 6.15 PM.

RACE 5:CLIFFORD PARK HOLIDAY MOTOR INN CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1307M.

Stewards placed a warning on MAGIC LAND, which was slowly away.

Near the 400m ULTRA MODERN was eased when tightened for room between ZEMUS and BUICK SEASON, which was taken out by FIL THE BIL (G Lynch), which shifted out to obtain clear running. G Lynch was reprimanded fro permitting his mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear.

MY BUTTONS hung out rounding the home turn forcing VIDEO HITS wider on the track.

Leaving the 200m CHARMING EYES ducked in taking RUNNING QUEEN onto MAGIC LAND, resulting in both making heavy contact.

VIDEO HITS took in MY BUTTONS approaching the 100m.

KULAK laid out in the early and middle stages.

B Appo (RED OAKS) pleaded guilty to a charge under AR145 in that he weighed in 1.2 kgs over the weight he weighed out at. B Appo was subsequently fined the sum of $200.

RACE 6: SEVEN QUEENSLAND QTIS 3-Y-O MAIDEN H'CAP – 1510M.

LLAMA LIP made the 1200m turn wide.

Approaching the 1200m TENACITY LASS was eased when tightened for room by MONEY AND RUN, which was taken in by ANGEL’S AFFAIR (W Cook). W Cook was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear.

Leaving the 1100m for some distance MONEY AND RUN was racing in restricted room to the inside of ANGEL’S AFFAIR, which was hanging in.

Leaving the 900m ANGEL’S AFFAIR ducked in and made contact with the running rail resulting in MONEY AND RUN being checked from the heels of ANGEL’S AFFAIR.

Leaving the 100m CORRIENTE shifted out under pressure.

Time off 7.37 PM.

RACE 7: COL WILKIE WORKS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1610M.

RICH CHARIOT made the 1200m turn wide.

Leaving the 400m PRINCE ALBA was steadied when crowded for room between CHRISENDOM and MILITARIUS, which shifted out to obtain clear running.

Leaving the 250m MILITARIUS shifted out and made contact with CHRISENDOM.

Time off 8.12 PM.
