Race 1: PACIFIC SEEDS RATINGS BAND 0-62- 1500M

No Racing incidents.

Race 2: GRAND CENTRAL RATINGS BAND 0-62 H'CAP – 1200M

HIDDEN EDITION- Reared as the gates open and lost considerable ground. Trainer T. Webb was advised that he will be required to obtain a further Barrier Certificate for the filly prior to it next racing. Rider B Appo was fined $200 for returning to scale in excess of a 1/2kg overweight.

HANDFUL OF SILVER- Raced keenly in the early stages of the event.

Race 3: SEVEN NEWS CLASS 3 PLATE – 1200M

BACKSTREET JACK-Bumped by another runner at the start. Bumped by another runner near the 200m.

OUTBACK LIGHTNING- Bumped by another runner at the start.

ON ICE NOW- Bumped by another runner at the start. Shifted out and bumped another runner near the 200m.

ACTIVE STAR- Bumped by another runner at the start.

Race 4: PACIFIC SEEDS CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1050M

HEART OF MY HEART- Raced wide throughout. Lost an off hind plate in running. Post race Veterinary Inspection of the mare which tailed of revealed no abnormalities.

WONDERFUL WALLY-Slow into stride.

Race 5: TYRRELL’S WINES MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M

To avoid a clash with an interstate event, the starting time of this race was brought forward to 3:58pm.

ROSE RAKU was declared a late scratching at 9:30am when no rider was available.

BORSARI- Was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 4:01pm after the gelding refused to load into the barriers. Upon the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on BORSARI be refunded with the following deductions to apply on all successful wagers

1st- 6 cents the win, 10 cents the place.
2nd- 13 cents the place.

Trainer J. Thomas was advised that he would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate for BORSARI prior to it next racing.

DE MESTRE- Threw its head in the air at the start. Rider N Nishio reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out to the end of the event.

GO TO VEGAS-Tightened for room at the start. Raced wide throughout the event.

EVERINGHAM-Raced greenly in the home straight and near the 100m shifted in and tightened another runner. Cast an off fore plate in running.

NOBLE TOFF- Tightened for room by another runner near the 100m.
