RACE 1: ROULSTON BUILDERS MAIDEN PLATE – 1200m
SHE’LL BERIGHTMATE was withdrawn at 9.15am. The trainer was advised the filly would require a veterinary certificate prior to resuming in races.
At the start MIDNIGHT JACK jumped in initiating contact with MONORAIL
MY MANDOLIN, which was over-racing, was obliged to check and loose ground when racing onto the heels of SKYLARNI.
Leaving the 800m turn PRETTY SISTER commenced to hang, coming into contact with MONORAIL.
RUBBER DUST rolled out around the home turn hampering GRACEFUL CELESTE.

RACE 2: HUDSONS PIES CLASS B H'CAP – 1100m
LADY NONAME and SMOKE STORM were both slow to commence.
Approaching the 800m CAPILLARY commenced to hang out noticeably and initiate contact with ELLEN LOVES ROSES which was hanging in, resulting in that mare shifting out and hampering HALO BOY.
Apprentice Z. Landry pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under ARR. 137(a) when she permitted her mount ROCKINGHAM to shift in leaving the 850m when insufficiently clear of MADAM RAUTAI resulting in that mare checking, loosing considerable ground and shifting in and hampering LE HAMEL. Apprentice Z. Landry’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 6 meetings to commence midnight 27/08/2005 and conclude midnight 08/09/2005.
Near the 300m HALO BOY shifted out abruptly brushing GRAND TARSHO.
BEND A RULE was hampered when TONI’S CHOICE commenced to shift out noticeably from the 200m to the winning post.

RACE 3: WARWICK HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE – 800m
SARA STREET was both slow to commence.
IN A CIRCLE was slow to commence and was then reluctant to compete in the event. Consequently, the gelding was restrained out of the race. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding was lame in the fore. Stewards advised the trainer a veterinary certificate would be required for the gelding prior to resuming in races.
Shortly after the start STARDUST GEM was buffeted when SING FOR EVER MORE shifted out and PAL’S MEMORY shifted in.
STARDUST GEM was disappointed for clear running inside the final 100m of the race.

RACE 4: ASHDOWN CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1200m
At the start MISS STRONGHOLD jumped out coming into contact with SHEER ABILITY, which was forced outwards coming into contact with BELLA LUGOSI.
FLYING NURSE hung out during the entire race.
MISS STRONGHOLD was disappointed for clear running in the early stages of the straight.

RACE 5: WARWICK FARMERS MARKETS/STOCKYARD HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP – 1350m
ALTAO and PINK PONTIAC were both slow to commence.
YOGI’S EDITION raced wide throughout.
VAIN AND HANDY was obliged to ease from the heels of KAWENDE shortly after that start when that mare was restrained.
ALTAO shifted in near the 200m making contact with KAWENDE. From the 150m to the winning post KAWENDE commenced to shift out forcing ALTAO wider.
