SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT –
FROM 26-01-09- KILCOY
Stewards after receiving confirmation from RISA notified Trainer Dichera that he. presented his horse MIDNIGHT RUBY to race with the incorrect gear in Race 5 QTIS Added Stakes Maiden Plate . Stewards fined Trainer F Dichera the sum of $50 under AR 140



FROM ROMA -15-11-08.(ROMA CUP )

Stewards today concluded the inquiry which was open into an incident that occurred at the Roma Cup meeting on the 15th of November 2008. In this inquiry it was concluded that in the vicinity of the 500m mark an incident occurred that resulted in Bread’n’Water falling and the rider Jockey D Monaghan being dislodged and suffering a fractured left arm .
This occurred as a result of BREAD’N’WATER clipping the heels of EIGHTDAN when that horse shifted ground outwards
Stewards subsequently charged Jockey M O’Connell with careless riding under AR137(a) and suspended his license to ride in races,commencing at midnight 31-01-09 up to and including midnight February-21—09,.a period of 3 weeks .


RACE 1-- KILLARNEY ABATTOIRS MAIDEN PLTE.-800M
1ST CRAZY WOMAN 2ND FRISK ME QUICK 3RD BEAU DESIRE 4TH DOCTOR WHIZZ

At the start VIVA LA SLAM (D TARRANT ) jumped out making contact with ATALANTA STAR (M HEAGNEY )
ATALANTA STAR then raced awkwardly in the middle stages of the event.
MRS CLARKE (G GERAN ) raced wide throughout the race
TIFFANY TWISTED (B THOMSON ) was tightened for room on jumping away by SANSPAREIL (M MILFORD ) which jumped out and MANEROO CRUISE (M DORRINGTON ) which jumped in .
DOCTOR WIZZ (L MCCOY) raced wide until rounding the home turn .

Stewards fined App M Abe the sum of $100 ,following a report from the Clerk Of Scales that he returned to weigh in, and was half a kilogram in excess of his declared weight .AR 145



RACE 2—KILLARNEY VETERINARY SURGERY CLS. B -1100M
1ST AMERRYBRIDGE 2ND LASRADO 3RD IRISH JOY 4TH GODLY

BARBINTARY EYE (S APTHORPE ) and IRISH JOY (M MILFORD ) were both tightened for room on jumping away by LEGAL RIVER (D MO) which jumped out and KOOMERANG TOO (W CLASOHM ) which jumped in .

LINDYS OPINION (J McKINNON ),FLAMINGO LIL (Z LANDRY ) and LASRADO(M O’BRIEN ) were all hampered at the start by GODLY (T BANKS ) which jumped out and VELVET SANDS (M HEAGNEY ) which jumped in .

Approaching the 1000m mark FLAMINGO LIL (Z LANDRY ) has rolled in tightening IRISH JOY (M Milford ).
VELVET SANDS raced wide in the middle stages of the event .



RACE 3 –ANGUS WICKHAM MEMORIAL ( WICKHAM FARMS & FREIGHT LINES ) MAIDEN PLTE – 1200M
1ST GLASGOW TOWN 2ND YOU TELL US 3RD AMAZING TOM 4TH LIGHTNING BLUE

ROADTOLUCK (I FRENCH ) dwelt as the start was effected and lost ground .Stewards notified connections that a ban would be placed on the horse for its racing manners ,and it would be required to Barrier Trial prior to its next start .LR 36

SEEKAYAL (J McKINNON ) was difficult to load and was uncompetitive over the final stages . Stewards notified connections that the horse would be banned to a Barrier Trial prior to its next Start LR36

GLASGOW TOWN (M O”BRIEN ) began awkwardly at the start
Both LIGHTNING BLUE (S APTHORPE ) and SEVEN CARD STUD (L APPO) were tightened for room at the start between BALBOA STAR (M HEAGNEY )and AMAZING TOM (K KAWAGOE ) both of which shifted ground

SEEKAYEL (J McKINNON ) raced wide in the early and middle stages of the event

Approaching the 850m mark LIGHTNING BLUE was tightened for room and checked losing ground when GLASGOW TOWN has shifted in . Stewards inquired into the incident and subsequently suspended App M O’Brien for careless riding under AR137(a) for a period of six meetings .

Over the final stages of the event it was reported by Jockey L Appo that SEVEN CARD STUD lay out and proved difficult to ride when it tailed off . Stewards notified connections that the horse would have to Barrier Trial prior to its next start LR36
Stewards notified connections of ROYAL VIRTUE that a warning would be placed on the horse for it pre race behaviour LR36



RACE 4 – LINCON MAIDEN PLTE -1200M
1ST RIB TICKLER 2ND NONNA MIA 3RD BROLGA ROAD 4TH LOVES A VINO

Stewards announced the late scratching of LIGHTNING FLASH at 2-00pm due to the fact that the ownership of the horse was incorrect .LR42

LOVES A VINO (L DUGGAN ) began awkwardly .
JAVAKISKA (Z LANDRY ) jumped in the air as the start was effected and lost ground .
NONNA MIA (W CLASOHM ) was slow into stride .
THE LAST JUROR (B THOMSON ) has jumped out at the start hampering MISS GAYLOR (J MCKINNON ) and taking that horse out on to RUSTY ME MATE (G AUCKRAM ) which was slow .
Nearing the 800m LOVES A VINO has rolled in tightening ROGEDASH REBEL (M MILFORD ) which was steadied . ROGEDASH REBEL then commenced to over race for a short distance .
Approaching the 550m BROLGA ROAD (S DRAKE ) has shifted out making contact with NONNA MIA (W CLASOHM )
JAVAKISKA over raced in the early and middle stages of the event .


RACE 5 KILLARNEY HOTEL KILLARNEY CUP OPEN – 1200M
1ST MOSSTANG 2ND ALTAICA 3RD WIGNDOVE 4TH MOUNT VERNON

GATHER (M O’ BRIEN ) was slow to begin and then approaching the 1000m commenced to overrace up to the 800m turn .

Over the concluding stages ALTAICA (G GERAN ) ,when placed under pressure , lay in and hampered WIGNDOVE (S APTHORPE )





RACE 6 KILLARNEY CO-OP & WARWICK CREDIT UNION CLASS 2 HCP. -1350M
1ST ICE BRIGADE 2ND DANCE TULIP 3RD DIAMONDSAUCASH 4TH MIND STAR

At the start THE STRAIGHT GUY (L DUGGAN ) and MY LAST CENT (D LLAMBIAS ) were both slow to begin .
MIND STAR (S APTHORPE ) began awkwardly and then over raced for some distance along the back straight.
STEFENICK ( G GERAN ) over raced in the middle stages of the event .

Approaching the 1000m KILKENNY QUEEN ( M TARRANT ) has shifted in tightening DIAMONDSAUCASH (W CLASOHM ).
Rounding the 600m turn MY LAST CENT (D LLAMBIAS ) has shifted in taking DEE’S PRIDE (L Appo ) in on to DANCE TULIP (J POJOLAS ) ,which was tightened for a few strides .

Both OPTICKS (C ISDALE ) and DUBAI OASIS (K KAWAGOE ) raced wide rounding the home turn
